 Do you accept credit cards?
Absolutely. We use paypal as our payment gateway, but that doesn't mean that paypal is they only form of payment we accept. We accept all major credit cards. Should you have any problems during check-out, send an email to sales (at) dvjvision.com or call us at 877-385-8474 Ext.1.

I'm a retailer and would like to sell your DVD's. Do you have wholesale pricing?
Yes. You can email us at sales (at) dvjvision.com, call 877-385-8474 Ext.1 or send a fax to 270-447-3335.

Are your DVD’s only for DJ’s?
No, since they contain non-stop visuals with no logos or credits, they are perfect for club owners, event planners and retail stores as well. Once the DVD reaches it’s end, it loop’s straight back to the beginning, so you never have to worry about a blank screen. They are also great tools for VJ’s.

What format are the DVD's in?
Club Visuals are available in both NTSC (used in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and other countries) and PAL (used in most of Europe, most of Africa, China, India, Australia and other countries). We will ship the DVD in the format that corresponds with the shipping address. All other DVD's are NTSC only releases. FYI: NTSC DVD's will play on PAL-players, but PAL-DVD's will not play on NTSC-players. If you plan on playing the DVD on a Pioneer DVJ-1000, the format doesn't matter, because it has the ability to automatically convert the format.

What region will your DVD's play in?
They are formatted to play in all regions.

What’s the aspect ratio of your DVD’s?
4:3

Do your DVD’s contain offensive materials?
No, they are suitable for all audiences.

Why do the visuals look like they are perfectly in sync with the music, regardless of the music I play them with?
For two reasons: 1. The visuals on the entire DVD move to a beat of 128 or 120bpm, there are no tempo-changes. This makes it easy for the DJ to sync audio and video. 2. The visuals are put together in a similar manner as an electronic music track: major changes only happen every 4 bars or multiples thereof.

Am I allowed to perform with your DVD’s in public?
Yes. The owner of a DVJ Vision DVD is licensed to use it in live performances of any kind. However, you can’t resell any of it’s content in whole or in part. All visual content is copyright of DVJ Media Inc.

I would like to incorporate your content into a product that I plan on reselling.
To obtain a broadcast license, please call us at 877-385-8474 Ext. 3, or send a fax to 270-447-3335.

 What does DVJ stand for?
Digital Video Jockey, basically a performer that dj’s with DVD’s. The release of Pioneer’s DVJ-X1 DVD-turntable in 2004 coined the phrase. Other terms used are DVDJ and AV-performer.

 What’s the typical set-up for a DVJ?
Two DVD-turntables, either an AV-mixer or separate audio- and video mixers, three LCD monitors (one for player 1, one for player 2 and one that shows you the mix) and a projector or display for your audience. To avoid having to mix your audio and video separately you can either connect your video-mixer (such as an Edirol V4) to the audio-mixer via midi (if both are midi capable) or connect a video-switcher like Pioneer’s VSW-1 to your audio mixer via fader start. The recently released Pioneer SVM-1000 of course makes this even easier.

How do I add your visuals to my DJ-set?
DVJ Vision DVD’s are designed for those situations where you would like to play audio, that doesn't come with any video. You could either add the visuals live or add them in pre-production. On a PC, this is easily done using Sony Vegas. On a Mac you could use an application like Final Cut Pro. The quickest way to do this, is to simply make sure audio and video are beat-matched and then record both into a DVD-recorder. If you have a chance to attend DJ Expo in Atlantic City, we will be teaching a workshop entitled "How to create a Music Video in 20 min" on Tuesday, August 12th. There, we will show exactly how it's done. If you would like a discounted pass to DJ Expo, contact us at info (at) dvjvision.com and we will send you a special code, for DVJ Vision customers only. Another great resource, that can help you integrating audio and video, is the book "How to DVJ", available here.

I create some really hot visuals myself. Are you interested releasing them?
We are always looking for artists to contribute to DVJ Vision. You could email examples of your work to info (at) dvjvision.com, or mail a DVD to DVJ Vision, attn: artist development, 55 Washington Street, Suite 702, Brooklyn, NY 11201
