HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?
If your shipment goes to an address in the United States you will be presented with two options at checkout: Regular (USPS First Class Mail) $5 and Priority (USPS Priority Mail) $7.50. Depending on your location, Regular will take 1-5 days, Priority will take 1-3 days. To international destinations we ship USPS International Priority Mail, which is $23.95, which, depending on your location, can take up to 10 days. We also have the ability to ship via UPS, but this is generally more expensive and they don’t offer a flat rate. If you prefer that your shipment goes out via UPS, please send an email with your shipping address to sales (at) dvjvision.com and we’ll let you know how much it would cost to ship.

I’M A RETAILER AND WOULD LIKE TO SELL YOUR DVD’S. DO YOU HAVE WHOLESALE PRICING?
Yes. You can email us at sales (at) dvjvision.com, call 877-385-8474 Ext.1 or send a fax to 323-704-3952.

WHO ARE YOUR DVD’S FOR?
Since they contain non-stop visuals with no logos or credits, they are well suited for many different uses. Our customers are DJ and VJs as well as club owners, event planners and retail stores. The best part is, while the DVDs contain professional content, you don’t have to be an expert on VJing to use them. Once the DVD reaches it’s end, it loop’s straight back to the beginning, so you never have to worry about a blank screen.

WHAT FORMAT ARE YOUR DVDS IN?
Most of our DVDs are available in NTSC only. Club Visuals 1-3 are available in both NTSC (used in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and other countries) and PAL (used in most of Europe, most of Africa, China, India, Australia and other countries). We will ship the DVD in the format that corresponds with the shipping address. FYI: NTSC DVD’s will play on PAL-players, but PAL-DVD’s will not play on NTSC-players. Some DVD-players, such as the Pioneer DVJ-1000, have the ability to automatically convert the format.

WHAT REGION WILL YOUR DVDs PLAY IN?
They are formatted to play in all regions.

WHAT’S THE ASPECT RATIO OF YOUR DVDS?
All DVDs are 4:3. Pixel Girls and Club Visuals 4 are dual layer DVDs, so they contain all clips in both 4:3 and 16:9. The DVD auto-plays in 16:9, but can be changed to 4:3 via the menu.

DO YOUR DVDS CONTAIN OFFENSIVE MATERIALS?
Pixel Girls contains some scantily clad females, but no nudity. All other DVDs are suitable for all audiences.

WHY DO THE VISUALS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE IN SYNC WITH THE MUSIC, REGARDLESS OF THE MUSIC I PLAY THEM WITH?
For two reasons: 1. The visuals on the entire DVD move to a steady bpm, there are no tempo-changes (Pixel Girls being the only exception). This makes it easy for the DJ to sync audio and video. 2. The visuals are put together in a similar manner as an electronic music track: major changes only happen every 4 bars or multiples thereof.

AM I ALLOWED TO PERFORM WITH YOUR DVDS IN PUBLIC?
Yes. The owner of a DVJ Vision DVD is licensed to use it in live performances of any kind. However, you can’t resell any of it’s content in whole or in part. All visual content is copyright of DVJ Media Inc.

I WOULD LIKE TO INCORPORATE THE CONTENT INTO A PRODUCT THAT I PLAN ON RESELLING.
To obtain a broadcast license, please call us at 877-385-8474 Ext. 3, or send a fax to 323-704-3952.

WHAT DOES DVJ STAND FOR?
Digital Video Jockey, basically a performer that dj’s with visuals. The release of Pioneer’s DVJ-X1 DVD-turntable in 2004 coined the phrase. Other terms used are DVDJ, VDJ and AV-performer.

HOW DO I ADD YOUR VISUALS TO MY DJ-SET?
DVJ Vision DVDs are designed for those situations where you would like to play audio, that doesn’t come with any video. You could either add the visuals live or add them in pre-production. On a PC, this is easily done using Sony Vegas. On a Mac you could use an application like Final Cut Pro. The quickest way to do this, is to simply make sure audio and video are beat-matched and then record both into a DVD-recorder. If you are using software, such as Serato Video, Virtual DJ or Mixvibes, you can easily rip the DVD into your software. In fact some of our DVDs (such as Street Level, VisHop, Disco Volante and Subject Zero) come with a CD-Rom, that contains data files, that can be easily dropped into your software. We also offer MP4 and MOV downloads.

I CREATE SOME REALLY HOT VISUALS MYSELF. ARE YOU INTERESTED IN RELEASING THEM?
We are always looking for artists to contribute to DVJ Vision. You could email links to your work to info (at) dvjvision.com, or mail a DVD to DVJ Vision, attn: artist development, 4 Water Street, #3a, Brooklyn, NY 11201
